Meet The Team

The Key Sports team are a group who are enthusiastic about sport and passionate about inspiring more children into sport to help them enjoy being active and develop a fit and healthy lifestyle.

Scott Quinney
Owner/Director
Scott launched Key Sports in 2009 after gaining a BA Honours degree in Leisure and Sport Management at Leeds Metropolitan University. He played football for Peterborough Utd Youth team and semi-professional for local clubs in the United Counties League. He enjoys all sport and lives in Orton Longueville, Peterborough.
Mark Plummer
Lead Sports Coach
Mark is a well-known local sports journalist who is passionate about football, speedway and ice hockey. He coaches a local Girls football side and enjoys all sport.
Matty Miles
Lead Sports Coach
A former professional football player for Leicester City FC, Matt currently plays for St Neots Town in the Southern League. Educated at Hinchingbrooke Academy, he enjoys a wide range of sports and lives in Brampton.
Janet Quinney
Finance Manager
A background in finance, business and education, Janet manages the accounts and compliance responsibilities of the Key Sports business. She has experience of working in primary schools and is also NNEB qualified.

All Key Sports coaches have a minimum of FA Level One Coaching qualification, are committed to meeting the right standards of coaching and comply with the Key Sports Code of Conduct.

All Key Sports Coaches are enhanced DBS checked and possess Safeguarding Children and Emergency First Aid Certification.
